Artivism: use your art to create positive change!

Hello KSJ!
If you are 10 or over you might like to enter this art competition called Artivism - Its about using art to raise awareness of the UN's sustainable development goals, specifically for this competition, one of the following:

  • Climate Action
  • Migration
  • Responsible Consumption

There are cash prizes and each entrant must write about their work and show how it has been used to raise awareness. In these lock down time you will have to think about how you might do this, could it be posted on the school website? Could a parent or carer put it on Twitter and social media? Perhaps you could send it to your local newspaper? Display it in your window?

You can use the powerpoints attached to find out more information and maybe get some inspiration plus there is a little bit more inforation below from the organisers.

Check with parents/carers that you are able to enter, you can forward your entries and descriptions to me and I will send them off.  If you want to you can get in touch for information about the competition/any help/advise you might want during the process , my email is heald@kingsleystjohns.co.uk

Good luck!

Mrs Heald
