Creative KSJ - Barnowls Pencil Portraits

Mrs Jones has been working with the Barnowls helping them to develop their drawing skills. I had the pleasure of working with them this afternoon as they used their new knowledge, soft pencils and a mirror, to produce these stunning self-portraits. 

The children took the time to really look at themselves before they began, they worked hard to get the proportions right and added shading blending with a cotton bud.  Some found it tricky to draw what they were actually seeing in the mirror rather than how they might usually draw a person from memory or imagination.

I think you'll agree the results are rather impressive, do see anyone you recognise?
